Colin MacGregor currently resides in NYC, working as the Design Director of La Ligne. As their first employee, he helped launch the brand in 2016. After taking a brief hiatus to work as a concept designer at Ralph Lauren, Colin returned to La Ligne in 2019.

Colin graduated in 2014 from the Brown/RISD Dual Degree program, a five year program in which he received a BFA in Apparel Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BA in Economics from Brown University. 

In 2015, Colin completed a year-long Fulbright grant in Łódź, Poland, teaching in the English Philology Department at the University of Łódź and researching the effect of communism on textiles and dress in Poland.

As an avid tennis player, film aficionado, and novice botanist, Colin spends his free time either on court, in front of a movie screen, or mourning his many dying plants.
